Description
This is an exceptionally large and rare natural bicolor tourmaline, mined in Mozambique. It is a vivid pink with a gradual split (right in the center) to a pastel blue-grey and is completely natural with no treatments.
It has fantastic clarity for a bicolor tourmaline of this size, with only a very faint veil and some tiny inclusions at the edge. Many large bicolor tourmalines are poorly cut and lifeless – not this one! I precision cut this stone with care to ensure that the brilliance is optimal and the color-split is clean and distinct.
All in all this is a super stone that is guaranteed to impress. Use it to create a very high end piece of jewelry or keep it as an investment gem. This stone comes with an independent certification from a Jewellery Council of South Africa accredited, FGA-qualified gem laboratory.
