Description
This is a beautiful, natural, bright orange spessartite/mandarin garnet from Mozambique. The color is saturated reddish-orange with with no brown overtone, reminiscent of mandarin garnet from Namibia. As is typical of spessartite, the stone has a few inclusions (only veils, no contrast inclusions/black spots). These do not detract from the beauty of the stone. High color grade mandarin garnets are difficult to find over 4 carats, so this is a rare stone. This will be perfect for a ring or pendant.
